Please Help! Entocort/Panic Attacks

Anyone on or have ever been on Entocort and experienced panic attacks, anxiety, depression - or noted an increase in these symptoms while taking the drug?

I have never had mental issues with this disease before but I can tell you that since taking the drug in the past two weeks I've had multiple attacks a day.

I am concerned and it would put me to rest to know it has been this med and not an emotional breakdown of my own.

Yes, I've had that too. Entocort is a form of prednisone called budesonide. It lowered all of my levels for B vitamins, potassium, etc, and I had terrible panic attacts, anxiety and depression.

Definitely call your doctor ASAP! You can't just quit cold turkey w/o even worse side effects, so the doc will have to taper you off.

In the meantime take extra b12 vitamins like around 2000 mg and extra calcium. Eat lots of bananas, which helps with the potassium. Hang in there, I know how rough it is!
