Prednisolone Vs Olanzapine

Well, both make you want to eat everything in sight. I found the main difference is though, is that Pred doesn't actually make me feel hungry, it's a psychological thing. When I first started Olanzapine, it made me feel as though my stomach was completely empty, all the time. Even after a big plate of boiled potatoes and pies I would feel like I hadn't eaten for two days.

Olanzapine eases psychotic symptoms, while Pred seems sometimes to make stable people behave in an almost psychotic way!

Prednisolone can make you hyper, while Olanzapine can turn you into a zombie.

So, one similar effect, and a couple of opposite effects.

I am comparing there potential for weight gain. The fact they are for different things but have a similar side effect.
