Hello Everyone!
So I have had a total colectomy, now living with a j-pouch and working on finding the right medication to keep my pouchitis under control. I am using birth control to not get pregnant at this moment but am hoping to in the future (when I am completely healthy and wouldn't bring any undue risk to the pregnancy because of myself) and have a million questions about it. I would also like to start having the conversation with my fiance about what our possibilities in the future will be since children are very important to both of us. If anyone has ANY stories, experiences, or information to share I would love to hear it! Especially the risk factors of the pregnancy, and if certain medications can make it impossible to get pregnant. Obviously in my search for a new medication I would like to avoid any that may mean I could not become pregnant.
