Prescribed medicine

Hello everyone,

Recently I was diagnosed with a Crohn's Disease and my doctor prescribed me with Lialda, which I have to take three tablets daily. There is a sign of progression, but I'm curious to know what other folks are taking to treat the Crohn's Disease. I'm also curious know to know if I should try out other medications to see what works best for my body. Any thoughts or advise would be helpful. Thank you,

I'm on predisolone & Humira. Was on azathioprine but affected my liver. On a concoction of other meds like pain killers & anti nausea etc & also starring me on liquid diet, Fortisips & meduline.
Have previously been on mesalasine & pentasa along with an elemental diet.
It really is a case of trial and error. I was on azathioprine for 10 years up until 9 years ago & it worked wonders. Started back on it again in November for a flare & caused my liver to go haywire! Crohns is a slippery lil sucker so we just go with what works for us Hope that helps & you feel better soon...
