I was diagnosed at 15, and put on prednisone and 6mp. I was weaned off of prednisone after a short while, and stayed on the 6mp which has treated me well ever since. Well, except for the alst couple weeks. I was out of refills for about a month in February, and got back on it in mid-March. Since then I have missed a handfull of days but am now consistent with taking it every day shortly after waking up. A few weeks ago, I began having (embarrassing) diarrhea. It was a very sudden, urgent feeling when I had to go and luckily I was home most every time it happened or I don't think I would have made it (more embarrassing). I soon completely lost my appetite and could only stomach one meal a day for about four days. That stopped, and then it became difficult to digest at all. My morning coffee is about all that makes me go now. This week has been worse, I have been eating very well. However, I am overcome with sudden feelings of nausea and pressure/pain in my stomach as I had before my diagnosis, along with a almost feverish sensation. Those stop after a minute or two, I drink some water which seems to help, but still cant go as often as I know I should be. I just feel full but I'm hungry, and it's so frustrating. Is it time to switch up my meds?

Well, it's certainly time to see your GI!! When's the last time you've had an appt?
