I am routinely researching and testing various experimental and alternative treatments, so when I found this one, I thought it may be useful for this condition.

There is a very scientific explanation as to why this works, but you can dig into that yourself if this is of interest to you.

Wound healing is a problem for Diabetics, and some people with Pyroderma Gangrenosum which can appear with Crohn's.

The method used in the link below has no side effects, and works extremely well according to those that have used it.

Here is an interesting story of healing a Horse of a gaping wound using a microcurrent device. The wound would not heal previous to the use of the microcurrent device.

I agree with your opinion on the fact that pyroderma is not going to be cured by this treatment. That is what makes it a treatment and not a cure.

I think of it as more of a better alternative than losing a limb because the wound is progressively getting worse.

It is also something that is far cheaper than using HBOT.

I do not even know if it has been used for Pyroderma, but the mechanism should apply to healing in general. Especially since it is also used for healing bone, sprains etc.

It will not cure the cause of the condition, but it could be used as long as needed to prevent a worse outcome. Much like HBOT.

I often wondered if what the doctor diagnosed as Psoriasis, on my shin was not an early form of Pyroderma.

It was black and deep to begin with and also has a rough scaly surface. I do not know what Pyroderma looks like in early stages, but Psoriasis is more of a surface condition, and this was deep.

It also reacted the same way you describe as I could heal the surface, but the healing was temporary and it would erupt again.

Luckily, it has healed considerably since using LDN and lots of anti-inflammatory supplements. It is still there, but no longer deep, and looks as if it is about to disappear altogether. It has taken over two years to get to that point.

How is Mike doing now?

Since much of the destruction of Crohn's and related diseases comes from a lot of free radical damage to tissue, have you tried some heavy duty doses of some anti-inflammatory, antioxidant supplements?

I know they will not cure the disease from my own experience, but they do knock down some of the more destructive aspects of the disease. They also are pretty safe to use, providing they are compatible with any medications.

All I can say is I hope Mike gets his PG undercontrol, it is not a common side effect, but being rare should be making Mike be first priority! Being on all the drugs don't help, his body or state of mind!

Wow, that is really tough.

I did not know he had that many conditions. I hope he can recover enough to live a somewhat normal life.
