Random sharp gut pains

random sharp gut pains

Does anyone get random sharp stabbing pains in their gut? I get these pains every once and awhile, sometimes I get them more often. Its just a sharp pain in one spot and lasts about 1 or two seconds then it goes away.

Yes!! Very strange huh?? It feels like someone stabbed me and then goes away, could be because I also have a spastic colon.. could be happening to you too. I see you are on Prednisone? What dose are you on now?

I'm no longer on prednisone. I do find that when I'm on pred I don;t get the sharp pain..I wonder if it's related to stool or whatever moving through my colon. I usually get the pain in my left side but last night I got a sharp pain in my right side...curios

yep I get those too, but only really noticed them since I had my last flare, things haven't gone back into remission like the last time but bloods are showing all is fine, I thought it was what was moving through the colon as the pain picks different place to show itself, so I can never pinpoint any place to the doc. He prob thinks I'm nuts.
