I read somewhere recently, that if you do rectal excercises, it can help with urgency. (It's like a vaginal kegel, but not vaginally.)
There are 2 types, I guess.
The first one is to just pretend you are "holding it" until you get to the bathroom.
Do that for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat a few times.
The second one is to hold tighter, like you just won't make it to the bathroom and fear an accident. They said that this one could only be held for a shorter time (4 seconds maybe?) because it's too hard to hold it longer.
I suppose you would have to do these every day, or even twice a day, a few repetitions. (You can do this in the car, sitting around, even in a meeting.):eek2:
Has anyone heard of these?? Do they work???
