Remicade Infusion friday!

I put this up on the remicade group thread but I thought I would share it with everybody.

I will be having my Very first Infusion on Friday April 8th at 11 am.

I have mixed feelings. I hope all goes well.

I still see myself going into shock and doing the bacon dance on the floor of the clinic. Yeah I know I'm a bit of a stressful wuss when it comes to medicine that I do not know. But hey I have high hopes that my D will finally stop. I am in my 6th week starit with it. My anus is so irritated that I have sweats hjust thinking of going to the bathroom.

So now I will have all week to think about it and hope for the best!!

Think good vibes people. I think I will need them.

you'll be fine.i had the infusion every 8weeks on fridays for about a year and was always fine,even got fish and chips from the hosp for lunch.woohoo.anyhoo everything will be fine.....

Good luck with your first infusion. I hope the drug works well for you. After two infusions my Diarrhoea has decreased from 20 times a day to around 4-6!

For me it has to be a black pudding supper on my way home after the infusions!!
