Hi everyone

So I met with the surgeon the other day and he has decided to go ahead and give me a right hemicolectomy by keyhole surgery - well that is the plan!
I'm pleased because the meds just don't seem to help me but apprehensive because I've only been under general anesthetisic once before and that was for having wisdom teeth out! I would be grateful if anyone could tell me their experience of this op and the recovery etc. The op is booked for 9th Nov.
Thanks, Claire :)

Check out the thread / sticky called "Your surgery story" in the Surgery Forum - lots of good info here

Thanks, I have already read through that which is really useful but just wondered if anyone had any experience of this op in particular:)
