Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

i found an article in an ibd magazine, that claims that if crohns sufferers have their vit D at summer levels all year, it will have a positive impact on the desease. I can unfortunately not link it cause it is in a magazine and in norwegian

Along with my officially prescribed sulfasalazine, something in my "soft science" armamentarium of VitD, fish oil, and probiotics seems to be working at the moment..

I just read a readers digest article saying for most people vitamin D is the only vitamin you need unless your body is depleting nutrients or can't absorb vitamins properly (like medication). As we all already know the body absorbs vitamins much better when it is in food. Thanks for sharing the article

I really have wondered if my severe Vit d deficiency led to the onset of Crohn's for me. My levels have been slowly going up. I'm definitely going to keep up with the supplement!
