Here it is Friday night and a holiday and sick.
I had abdominal pain all day thought it was because I ate breakfast. Have had pain with eating since I developed obstruction and resolved. Tonight I have a fever of 102 and vomiting no more pain. Vomit looks like plan mucus. Is this when we call the dr? If I so which one GI or primary? I do not have time for this I have 5 cadets all most here from USMA for there last time seniors including my son and his girlfriend.

I think if you have a fever and are vomiting and unable to keep fluids down then that sounds like time to go to the ER.

I would say yes, call the doctor, ideally GI but if primary is more accessible or easier to get ahold of that would be fine. They just need to determine if its an emergency fast and if you need to go to emergency. If you can't get a hold of either, just go to emergency. If it is another obstruction it can't wait.

Dont wait too long. Go to ER if needed.
If this turns out to be a partial obstruction they may run a round of steroids to get it under control quickly.

I know you dont have time for this; somehow it always comes in a bad timing (conclusion: no good time for it)

Get into "auto-pilot" mode and do whatever you have to in order to keep on top of things, the sooner the better. It's my best advice.

Hope it's just a short episode and that you get well soon
