Scd diet

I haven't tried this diet, but I am very intrigued by it. My 8 yr old son has Crohn's, so I'm not sure how this kind of diet would fly with him. And I'm not sure it can be sustained for the long term. But, I too, would love to hear from anyone who is/has tried it. For the most part, it sounds like this is how we should all be eating.

I started the diet for my 16 year old (vegetarian) son on 5/6. He's gained a little weight and feels good. After 6 weeks of only Peptamen, he began eating very basic foods, vegetable broth, eggs, yogurt, applesauce, then added almond butter, fresh squeezed OJ, watermelon, cantaloupe, spinach, string beans, and last night had his first bread, made with almond flour. I made the cheese bread from the book and he LOVED it! Super easy to make, too. :)
