So on the Crohns end of things, the GI was somewhat pleased with what he saw, said the colon where I usually have most trouble was improving - the Humira is the right track, he thinks, but is now considering Entyvio. However, I have diverticulitis and a severely red stomach with petechiae. Petechiae in other places throughout the colon as well with some friability and hyperememia (cecum and proximal ascending colon as well as the descending and sigmoid colon), a few other places..Just not sure what that means. He did multiple biopsies, checking for ileitis. Not sure what that is either. Hemorrhoids are still there, hernia still there...Go back in a few weeks unless he doesn't like biopsy results. So, I think overall it went okay. Glad to know it has been diverticulosis not Crohns the last month. Although that isn't fun either. Am I missing anything of concern? Just not sure of what a few things mean and curious.
