night everyone, just wanted to know if one of the side effects of prednizone is puffy feet and hands.. all of a sudden today i look at my feet and hands and they look swollen, and my face to. i think its time to call my doctor and get him to reduce the amount that he has me on.. good news is my flare has passed and Bm is normal again, no pain nothing. guess ill have to wait and see what happens when he tries to reduce my meds.

I never got that side effect from Pred but I hear it's normal to get some kind of puffiness in your face. I thought it was from the munchies you get on it making you eat more. If it's your feet and hands as well you should might as well call your doctor.

hiya.im on pred and it does make me look like a hamster but never had an issue of the hands and feet but might be different for women as its mostly down to water retension ive heard so could be that,hope you get it sorted.ive been on these for years on and off and they do a job but when i try to come off them i get major symptoms as soon as i get to about 5mg,im in process of tapering down now so will see hoe i fair this time while on 6mp and humira.
