My general surgeon and my Endometriosis specialist have agreed that although adhesions are a likely culprit for my pain that so is some form of IBD. They have scheduled me for a CT scan and a Sitz marker test. Does anyone know anything about the sitz marker test? Like how accurate it is, and what it may say. I understand it has to do with motility, but its also supposed to show "dead" spots in my colon that aren't functioning and would indicate a need for further surgery (bowel resection). I would appreciate anyones experience with this? I'm still trying to get a diagnosis, and Crohns seems very likely right now.
