So disappointed

I went to the surgeon yesterday for a post op and was really hoping he was going to start tapering the pred! But after he had a look with his camera he said there is hardly any improvement.... still lots of ulcers, swelling blood and mucus. So now I am starting Asacol enemas every second night too and have to stay on the 30mgs of pred! I was sure I was feeling better and I'm still sure I see an improvement in my bowel behaviour, but now I'm wondering if it's all in my mind and I was just hoping too much. What a bummer!

Funny how we think we are better or worse and the pictures say the opposite! Sorry you have to do enema's. I have never had to do that. When is the big op?

I had surgery on the 3rd Dec , 2 x anal skin tags removed and a fistula that had to be removed. Suregry went well and I'm so much more comfortable now!

Sorry Samantha....Prednisone is a pain in itself. I'm glad you are feeling better.....I guess it is better than feeling terrible and having normal results???? I hope things improve for you.
