I spent three years taking contorted showers so I didn't get my pouch, flange and tape too wet in fear that they may leak. I spent three summers slipping in the pool for no more than 30 minutes and then changing my pouching system right away.

For a Florida girl who grew up in the water and on boats - it was like a death sentence for all my favorite things to do.

This is my second summer of using this product. I absoloutly love it! If it works for an Ironman Triathalete (that is not me of course) - it might work for you too!

I am new to this, do you guys wear your pouch to go swimming? I can't see a stoma cap lasting very long so could someone enlighten me?

I wear my entire appliance. I just put a smaller bag on...you can get really cute small ones...lol

I thought stoma caps were just for colostomies, right?

I had a temp way back when and went swimming just fine with my regular appliance. I hope to have the same experience with my permanent ostomy!
