I have recently changed hospitals and they are wanting to do some tests that the old hospital have never done, so I went to have a Fistulogram done yesterday on four entercutaneous fistula's that I have on my stomach.
The results I was given was that the fistula's are not connected to each other and are also not attached to the bowel but are within the abdominal wall! the doc said this was really good news. I have been told for 3 years by previous hossy that they are from the small bowel. I'm now slightly confused as I thought that fistula's went from organ to organ or to skin. Has anyone else been told they have fistula's in the abdominal wall and how they would be treated, any info would be great thanks Bev x
