My daughter was prescribed prednisone 40mg. She also receives methotrexate shot every Saturday morning. This wI'll be my first time giving both medications to her. I asked if there should be a waiting period between doses, the doctor said no. Do any of you have experience with giving both these meds. She also receive's remicade infusions. Did your kids take prednisone while receiving infusions. She is eating moreally since taking the prednisone and isn't experiencing pain. She is on day 3 of the steriods.

We have given remicade and pred many times
Ds has been on pred humira and mtx in the same day
It's already in her system so the day of the shot doesn't matter so much
Mtx last about a week in the system so she has already been on mtx and pred

Oh and steriods always makes Ds more hungry
She is trying to control the mood swings. It not so many words she kinday kicked me out of her room.
she us eating more. I think the drinks are making her stomach feel bubbly has she explains it.

My son was a bear when he was on pred. Lots of interesting words coming out of him! Sometimes I would have to stop him and ask if he really meant that or if it was the pred talking. Often times, it was just the pred talking.
