So, I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2015. I had surgery in June of that year, I had a piece of my ileum taken out because it was overly inflamed. After that, I was put on Remicade for the first time. I stayed on it for about 6 months, but then i discontinued treatment because I'm also an opiate addict and I relapsed at the time. i started using opiates consistently again for the next 5 months or so, until I decided it was time to stop and I started medication-assisted treatment at a methadone clinic. For the next year I stayed at the methadone clinic and kept my addiction in check, but still did not go back to treatment for my Crohn's yet. It wasn't until September 20th of this year, 6 days ago, that I got my first Remicade treatment. The next day, it was already working. The whole time I wasn't getting treatment, it flared up pretty bad, to the point I was in pain every day. But after the treatment, it got better very quickly. And it stayed that way for the next few days, but yesterday, I noticed it got worse again. And like I said, its only been 6 days. My next treatment isn't until October 5th. So i'm just a bit confused. Anybody know what could be going on? Why it got better so quick and then worse just as fast?

Did they restart your loading dose ?
Since you were off it for over a year
It will need to build back up in your system again

I'm not sure about what dose it was. But i'm thinking you're probably right. I think they may have started me off with a lower dose the first time, and then are probably going to increase it the next couple of times. So, that would explain why it got better so fast and then worse again, I think.
