Stomach aches and cramps

Hi,

I'm flared up at the moment and get stomach aches and cramps quite high up in the stomach area.....I was just wondering does anyone know the cause of them; inflammation? hunger/starvation? acid?

Is there anything you do for relief?

Hi pele,
Could well be trapped gas (very painful) from poorly functioning bowel. If you have peppermint tea, or even hot water, muscle relaxants, pain meds, can all help. Hopefully it will resolve soon....best wishes to you.

I agree that it could be trapped gas. I get this alot right after I eat anything. Another culprit could be ulcers or inflammation in the bowel. Hope u feel better!

I think you may be on to something about the gas.......it never crossed my mind but would certainly make sense for yesterday.
