Stopping Humira - High Blood Pressure

Hi All,

I started Humira 8/11 and within 2 Months my BP was high, as of 12/11 it's 180/95.

I want to stop the Humira due to the High Blood Pressure, and I seemed to be OK on
Budesonide 3x3mg and Serquil 200 mg/day.

CD 1989, all commonly prescibed drugs for CD in the 90's, Remicade then reaction
to it Resection 2004/2005

the only thing that really helped was the Seroquil after the resection - I was able to sleep and wasn't that aware of sensations in my gut.

NOTE: Googled Seroqil & High Blood Pressure and it's a common side effect, but I've been on this dose since 2008 and had no problems upto now.

So - My question is this - Has anyone stopped Humira and if so what are the side effects of stopping ?

Short Term ( 3mo ) ?

Longer Term ( 3mo+ )?

Any problems stoping/restarting Humira ?

If you stop it may not work when you re-start, or not work as well as before. Since it's fully humanised you're less likely to produce antibodies to it but...
Side effects of stopping, apart from the obvious you mean? There's no withdrawal problems.
