Surgery vs Drugs

I am near the end of my rope. My GI has told me that I have acute sever Crohns colitis. He says that I need to be on a drug or surgery. I have been on Humira and Cimzia and prednisone and uceris. I have had horrible result with all of them.

I am currently on a dose of prednisone again to try to reduce inflammation but after I will need to make a choice. My question is: maybe surgery is the answer? It's the one thing i haven't tried and I'm going mad. I'm scared and upset and I don't want to make the wrong choice again.

Any help is appreciated.

I had a resection almost six years ago. Since medicine is not working, you should consider the surgery. Tell us what you decide and how you are.
