Sympton free for 4 months

ok so my 17 year old daughter was diagnosed in January of 2014 with crohns,2 colonoscopies within 5 months,I have posted on here before about the struggle, but since being on the Pentasa and 6 mp & a change in diet seems as though she is symptom free. she was on meds until July, then my daughter wanted to see how she would feel without meds, so she stopped taking them,I tried everything in my power to make her take them. Dr. went away for a month and we have an apt this week. but really she has not shown any symptoms whatsoever, stools are normal and no blood. Eating is good nothing is bothering her. Hoping the blood work comes back normal.

It's great to hear that she isn't having any symptoms. Since Crohns disease is cyclical is not uncommon for someone to go through periods with no symptoms. I hope her blood work comes back good. Being asymptomatic does not mean that there still isn't active disease lurking somewhere. Hopefully, all goes well for your daughter.
