:confused2:
Someone please... am I the only one??? I have abdominal spasms that cause rectal spasms, pain & pressure. It's so severe that I feel like I'm almost in labor. Even when I don't need to have a BM. If I do, it's worse. The only relief I've gotten is from librax and sitting with knees bent and a heating pad on my stomach. A warm bath also helps, but I can't sit in a bathtub but for so long. I had a scope not long ago & told my dr about this - my scope showed diverticulitis & mild scarring from Crohn's. No active disease. These episodes seem to be getting more frequent and are driving me nuts. It's like being constipated and trying to pass stool, but there isn't any. :confused2: Sometimes I even have to practice Lamaze breathing just to get past it. Along with this pain is some nausea, bloating and the upper part of my abdomen becomes rock hard. Not in a sexy 6 pack kind of way - more like a gross gassy hardness. Tenesmus? Proctalgia Fulgia? Whatever the term, it's MISERABLE!!!
