Cipro works for my crohn's very well; but I get tendon problems with it every time I use. I don't use it anymore due to this serious side effect. The drug is very useful for treating SIBO and intestinal bacteria infections.

I'm having an intestinal infection right now and trying to treat it with clarithromycin. I can't use flagyl either because it affects my tinnitus badly. I've tried xifaxan 2 times in the past but just got worse with it. I feel "unarmed" against intestinal bacteria infections... I'm on low carb diet to prevent SIBO-like situations but sometimes you just get the infection from the environment...

Anyone in a similar situation? What do yo do? You know, some of the other antibiotics can be dangerous for crohn's and colitis.
