Very exciting stuff, I was watching something on discovery channel about stem cells the other night, hopefully within the next few years they'll have the ability to rejuvenate damaged organs... Be nice for people to fix up scarring or even get a brand new engine ;p
 
I spoke to Prof. Geoff Forbes at Royal Perth Hospital late last year. He is heavily involved in MSC therapy for Crohn's and is still conducting trials, I believe. You have to have failed everything else to be eligible, and while he was unable to talk about how the trials were going, it was obvious he believes there is huge potential in MSC therapy.

While scanning Instagram, there is a Lady(unsure of her name at the moment) documenting the process as she has undergone a stem cell transplant to "cure" crohns. I believe the trial is outta Seattle Washington. She is 40+ days post transplant, If im not mistaken.
