To start or not to start..... Humira?!?!

I was diagnosed with crohns 3 years ago. Started on vitamins, calcium, actonel, and Entocort 9 mg a day. I've been taking those all this time and done "ok". I was hospitalized Monday and released yesterday for a flare with dilated bowel and started on Prednisone 40 mg for only the second time in the 3 years. I have had no surgery. Any thoughts about starting Humira or Remicade?!? Thanks so much.

Did your gastro recommend it? If you have mild disease activity you may opt for a lighter treatment first before going to humira. It's a choice you and your dr need to make based on your symptoms and the situation in your gut.
