Not feeling so well today but don't want to call a doctor. I wondered if any of you have experienced what I am feeling and if so, do you know what it is?

It could just be a stomach bug........

Yesterday must stomach started to ache and as soon as food hit I started to get an awful stomach ache and gut cramps. What is strange is how the pain goes all the way through me making my spine ache.

I was so tired I went to bed at 7:30 last night and had a horrible night sleep. Today I don't feel any better with the same stomach cramps and aching spine.

Has anyone had an ulcer?????

Collette,

Does this pain stab through to your back? Do you feel dizzy at all? Has the pain got any worse? Can you score the pain out of 10 with 10 being the worst pain ever?

Basically anything that is severe pain or that lasts longer than 48hours (if you think it is a stomach bug) without improving you need to see a medic about.

The fact you are losing sleep shows the level of pain you have so its worthwhile calling your doc rather than continuing to suffer!

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for your feedback. Apparently I am having a reaction to the Pentasa. I am taking a break for a few days and trying it again. Lately if I don't feel like crap from the crohne's, I feel like worse crap from the meds. Ever feel like you can't win?

I had a hard time with Pentasa at first too. It took about a month before the cramping stopped. Well, I didn't have cramping for the WHOLE month, only when I took the pills and then only for a half hour or so. Nothing severe. I am just starting my 3rd month with them and I don't get crampy anymore. Not from them anyway. I hope you find your answers soon.
