Hubby seen the doctor and his crohns is extreme a and they feel has been there for many yrs. they put a drain in the abscess and he's on pain meds and antiobiotics for the infectio it had partially ruptured Friday. They said he will be in the hospital 7-10 days. He will need to be on humor a and remicade. Once it's under control he has to get 10 in of damaged intestine removed. It's been incredibly stressful and we've been in a lot of shock over all this.

Are they saying he will need to be on humira and remicade? That doesn't seem right as they are both the same type of biologic, tnf alpha blocker. Maybe they meant Imuran and remicade?
