Here's an update on my situation to those that know my whole story.
I had my surgery April 15th and had 28 cm or ileum and large bowel removed.
I went though Prednisone and Percocet withdrawals aswell as dealing with surgery pain without antiquate pain killers. After that all passed I started 125 mg Aza to keep me in this surgery induced remission. My weight during surgery and when I was sick was around 105 lbs. Now it's July 14th I eat everything I want, I go to the gym, and I work 5 days a week and I weigh 145 lbs and gaining :)
Well just telling you guys I'm doing absolutely amazing and feeling the best I've ever felt in my entire live. The emergency surgery was the best thing that could have happened to me.

That is amazing news! So awesome!

I concur - sometimes that emergency surgery is a blessing in disguise!

Congrats on the miraculous recovery and best wishes for continued remission and good health!!

Great news Thomas, you're a credit to the forum. Glad for ya and glad you're here!!

126 lb to 168 lb here, a lot of it is from the gym. Great gaining diet, I have hardly any bodyfat, Lean, strong, fit and explosive!

The surgery has changed me for the better...

I am happy to hear that you are feeling great, and that everything is going well with staying healthy :)

Such great news Thomas. Just what I needed!!!! I've been sick and on mostly liquid with occasional soft foods since April. Even with restricted diet, Remicade, Pentasa, and prednisone, the inflamation is worse and I'm to arrange a surgical consult on Monday. Hearing that several of you have responded so well to surgery is very encouraging. Thanks for all the great news.
