I got a call from my gi's office. The specialist doesn't feel like I am having a flare. He was thinking maybe the muscles in my pelvic floor were weakening and they gave me the option of going to a colorectal surgeon. After the assistant hung up, she ran into the GI. He doesn't want me to deal with surgeon right now. If I am still having issues in a week, they will have me go up from to three colestid a day. They will talk about increasing humira up from biweekly to weekly after the surgery on my scalp .

I seriously hope they can get you taken care of soon. Am thankful you were able to talk to them and hopefully now that they know, they can keep a watch on you...

I don't know what to believe. My specialist says I am not having a flare yet I smell like I am sick sometimes when I go to the bathroom and I can feel my heartbeat down there. Along with that is the diarrhea and incontinence. Forgive me for venting.

Vent away...that's one of the great reasons for this forum.

Keep after them Ron - smell is a stronger indicator than I think many in the medical profession will admit to. If a dog can smell cancer, I don't think odour should be ruled out. I likewise can detect certain odours and have even recognized them when there has been a 30 year gap. Don't give in to them, make them justify their response. "I don't feel..." isn't very convincing.
