I have updates since my last post! The doc thinks it may still be crohns.

I had a barium swallow today for stomach and small intestine and all that was seen was acid reflux (fairly obvious ;)).
The doc said it is very likely they wouldn't see crohns on the swallow but since I have a colonoscopy on Friday we will know then.

I had a CT done a few weeks ago but they have to do it without contrast (I am allergix to idone), which makes it harder to tell.

I have read that it's not always easy to diagnose crohns, is this true? I am fairly certain this is what is going :(

High WBC. That was four weeks ago, I am thinking it needs to be taken again because everything has gotten worse since then.

Hello!

My Crohn's Disease was confirmed from a colonoscopy, however, we knew to go to a colonoscopy from my Barium thingy with the nasty contrast, a blood test that showed anemia, and this other test that shows the levels of inflammation in your body (blood work).

You can pretty well be assured the colonoscopy will determine whether you have Crohn's or not.

We'll be thinking about you...
Please come back and let us know the findings.

Healing hugs~Nancy
