Hi everyone,
Just wanted to ask a quick question.
Was started on imuran about 2 weeks ago.
Have had a bad chest for about 5 days now , coughing up phlem. Not got a sore throat and dont actually feel ill, just weezy (i have asthma too) Never get colds (last time i had one was a year ago)
Also as off yesterday have a urine infection (never had one before) on antibiotics for it.
Is there any chance that it's due to the imuran ? I know its an immunosupressent (Sorry if spelt wrong , never been a good speller lol)
Just i don't get ill very oftern and now 2 at once.
On the upside the crohns seems to be doing a bit better :ycool:

Imune suppressors can cause you to be suseptable to colds and flu. I had a weird flu a month ago and it was phelgm but no cough. Also I went 7 years prior to no flu or colds and then a major outbreak of colds and Pnemonia last year. Bladder infections can be from kidney stones or not drinking enough fluids, water needs to be drank alot to flush out toxins. Hang in there the flu season isnt over yet. I am just getting over a cold my self.

your symptoms could be due to the Imuran.
It might be a good idea to check with your doctor.
