:queen::I am happy to report that so far the combination of the Alkaline water/diet and the Blood-type diets have been working very well for me. At this point I know exactly what will ignite a minor flare-up if I am not vigilant, but in general, I think these food and water disciplines are the answer for me. I take only 1/3 of the Rx daily and hope that my digestive system will be self-regulated and totally sustain itself in a few months. For me, acid foods/water and an acid digestive environment work like poison. I try to maintain a balance of at least 80% Alkaline, if not more, to 20% acid. Inflammation occurs immediately if I have acid foods like breads, peanut oil, chips, even rice. I also take Aloe Vera caps, Lecithin caps and Probiotics, as well as vitamin supplements. I am already losing unwanted pounds and I would say that my head is clearer because my digestion is much better. My energy seems better, too, as long as my insomnia doesn't interfere. I just wanted to share my latest experiment with low Rx dependence.

Here is page with Lectures (audio only) by Dr. D'Adamo on IBS and CD. He is the "Blood Type Diet" doctor, and goes into all aspects of digestion, including chewing food, food choices, acid/alkaline balance, organs, absorption, enzymes, ulcers, and various digestive disorders and diseases. He also includes how one's mental attitudes and emotional reactions have a large affect on digestion.
