Some more research on vitamin D. There seems to be no end to the benefits of proper levels of this vitamin, and deficiency can cause many problems. Normal immune function seems to hinge on proper levels also.
Does this pertain to Crohn's? It certainly could be one factor of many, especially given the slightly higher rate of Cancer for those of us with Crohn's. Not to mention Osteoporosis, and the implication that our immune system is not quite working as it should.
