New here. I went through all the testing (colonoscopy, CTE, and blood work) about three years ago and was told it was inconclusive. I had active ileitis according to pathology but my doctor never really did a follow up. I've seemed to have been in what my new PCP thinks is a flare and we are pursuing testing again.

My question is, could I actually have Crohn's without positive blood work/CTE and little significant weight loss? I lost about 15 pounds over the two months without trying and eating normally. I suppose that could be significant, but I'm still considered "overweight". I have quite a bit of pain and chronic diarrhea (sometimes bloody) especially right after eating, and my electrolytes have been off, as well as chronic low Vitamin D.

My initial appointment (with a GI nurse) isn't until May 18th...so it's a waiting game for now...

I would agree with getting tested again. I would be concerned about the weight loss and the blood. I wish you the best.

Welcome to the forum. ❤

I agree with ronroush, getting tested again is a must.

I was recently diagnosed with Crohns.
I had :
two stool sample tests
blood tests
colonoscopy/endoscopy (with biopsies)
CT Scan ( with contrast )

Hope you get a diagnosis soon. 🌻

PS: I have not lost any weight.
