Hi All
I have had diarrhea for over 12months started after a Gallbladder removal. Two months later I had a colonosopy and endoscopy nothing detected.Fast forward always having diarrhea
Gurgling and the feeling of trapped gas.Last week I had a cat scan which shows minor swelling with the comment likely colitis.lucky my doctors has followed up with stool test , full blood including markers I am now waiting to see GI feeling very nervous about outcome. Thanks

Don't be nervous. :) There are many different types of colitis; colitis just means inflammation of the colon. Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is the kind most talked about on this forum, and has its own sub-forum: http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=69
But there other kinds, some temporary. Once they've determined the type you have, your doctors should know the best course of treatment for you, and hopefully your symptoms will improve.

Hi Crackel, welcome to the forums. :)

I am exactly in the same position as you are. I have come from 'constipation' (just hard stools, rather than not being able to go', to the complete other end of completely loose stools. Admittedly, I am having the gurgling today, and I've tried to eat more (appetite lost) and it's still going! I have had all of those tests like you, but nothing has been shown (only low lymphocytes - which wouldn't make sense!), but I am now awaiting my appointment with the GI like you and I too, feel nervous!

Best wishes to you.
