I have Crohn's and have been taking Humira for maybe 2 years now. 17 years old.
I've tried to research this question but I haven't found any answers. All it says is to take it when you can & that Humira stays in your system for a while. I take Humira every other Sunday. But I always feel awful and extremely tired the day I'm supposed to get my Humira. & also, my stomach swells and bloats up the day I'm supposed to get it. If I miss a few days, it stays bloated and I feel weak & tired. I've told my doctors and they haven't said or done anything. The longest I've ever been without my Humira was maybe a week. I was just wondering if anyone else has these problems? Or if I'm just going crazy lol.
Also, I've noticed my Crohn's acts up when I'm on my period. I'll have bad cramps from my period and I always have to use the bathroom a lot. It does this every month even if I do take my Humira on time. But it seems to me, its worse when I've missed a few days of Humira. I dont know if its all in my head or if other people have these problems as well.
