Hi guys. My doctor think I have crohns, we are waiting for the biopsy, but he was so sure he already put me on 5-asa crohn and imuran.

I'm reading a lot about it these days and I don't think I have symptoms of crohn. I love to get help of your guys who know the symptoms.

My unique symptom is my feces. I saw this disease give blood diarrhea but I'm rarely get a diarrhea, I mean the liquid feces... My feces are very loose, pasty, yellow, malformed and greasy for a long time already (5 years or more) but not liquid... And never have blood in it.

The really diarrhea (liquid feces) I have only two times in 3 or more months and went for a week both and just get better when I use antibiotics (bactrin). In these events I have a lot of pain in the abdomen, mainly before passing a stool or gases. And both events started after I drink a lot of beers...

I have no lost of appetite, no weight lost, no blood in feces.

We know this disease can affect any part of the digestive tract so the symptoms are probably different for each person. But about the feces, someone have this problem of pasty, very loose but not liquid feces?

Sorry for the long and poorly written text. English is not my main language so hope you don't stop reading because of that :)

Symptoms can vary wildly depending on what stage you're at and where the disease is located.

I've had the following symptoms (often all at the same time) over the past few years:

- severe abdominal pain (left, right and center), with or without food.
- 20+ liquid bowel movements (often bloody, burning and extremely urgent).
- dry heaving and/or vomiting.
- severe joint pains in hands and feet.
- anemia which almost resulted in a blood transfusion.
- nutrient malabsorption.
- exhaustion resulting from the last two points.
- pretty bad night sweats and fever.
- mouth sores (to the point where I couldn't speak).
- perianal abscesses and fistulas (one of the worst parts of the disease).
- weight loss (from 155lbs to 108lbs in 2010).
- lots of gas and pains to go with it.

All those symptoms were immediately resolved through an ileostomy and removal of my rectum and anus. The surgeries weren't done to treat the disease, they had to be done because of the damage to those organs were irreparable and were causing complications.

My symptoms before being diagnosed were simply a sore bum.
