So, what did you get this year? My brother got me a shirt FTW.

I got a Raven MP3 player and speaker, that awesome shirt, a double boiler (finally), some airtight canisters, some olive oils, some beer (under cooking ingredients for me) a silpat (woot!), money (which is always nice) and a few other things. All in all, nothing disappointing. The beer was close, as I'm not a drinker of it, but I make a lot of beer battered fish and such and so it's still a good thing to get.

Silpat and a double boiler!! Santa knows what to bring you buddy! Two things a good cook/baker should not be without :O)

I got the Canon EOS Rebel T1i D-SLR camera with an additional 75-300mm zoom lens and all the other paraphernalia to go with. Twin is still making my gift - it's prolly gonna be jewelry I'm guessing. Mom gave us a $50 gift card for Olive Garden. Bought a bunch of stuff on the NYC trip last week as well. All in all - a spoiled rotten Christmas for me. I normally get one small gift and the kids get everything else.

I got a new sound machine, a leather coat, a couple gift cards, and a new tv. Its nice.

I was completely spoiled. My husband got me a laptop (the man who said we would spend 50 bucks on each other), a router, itunes gift card, and a tripod for my camera. He also got me a sled. Bwahaha. That one makes me laugh. What doesn't make me laugh is a label maker. A label maker?? I am so returning that.
My parents got me a two night weekend getaway with babysitting included, a camera memory card, $110 restaraunt gift cards, and a Garmin for my husband.
I did not get a Snuggie and I am sooooo happy about that! If I can just make it through my birthday with no Snuggie, I will be thrilled.
AND - he didn't have to work. Most Christmases he has to work part or most of the day because he plows the roads. It was a niiiiice Christmas.

A ton of warm clothes (thank god!!), an iPod Nano w/iTunes gift card, a printer (!), new boots (3 pairs warm, 1 pair thigh-highs), Bluetooth rearview mirror, heated blanket, NCIS - all 6 seasons (!!!!!!), DVDs, gift cards, a new jewelry box (mine was buuussstteeedddd!!!)..... what else? I'm just naming stuff I can see around piled on the loveseat around me...

OBKB - I wanna see pics of you in the thigh high boots - only cuz I'm too old to wear them and I bet you look fabulous in them....... :O)

I unfortunately did get a snuggie. Its an NFL one, they call them a snuggler. It was Seahawks atleast. I like to think of it as a weird robe. My dog got one too.

An expired Starbucks Gift Certificate (JUL09). Obviously a re-gift without checking the fine print.

A ski cap one size too small. I have a fat head I guess.

That's about it. I don't really do good on the whole Christmas thing. Just as well. I have what I need anyways.

I got a nice sweatshirt, strings for my guitar, a few nice shirts, and I have two unknown presents that haven't gotten here yet.

hey GJG it's illegal in BC and Alberta for gift cards to have an expiry date on them - go use it!

Sorry - no advice for the ski cap (that's not what you're wearing in your pic is it?) Maybe regift it next year.

My Santa list was very unexciting but useful. No family Xmas this year so only gifts from dad which were a service on my car and some cash.

My brother surprised me with a didgeridoo. I can't quite get it to drone yet, all I can manage is loud fart-like noises (a sound that I am good at making without a didgeridoo). My parents got me a lovely little ukulele, I'm having better luck getting music out of that.

:ylol2: I imagine they are tricky to operate!

I always thought it'd be cool to have a didgeridoo. Probably likely to be the only instrument other than my voice that I'd be able to play, besides maybe the bugle.

Dirgeridoos are so cool. I've heard they take some time to learn how to play but once you got it down you'll be making some cool sounds. Also, the uke sounds like a blast to play. What size is it?

i got a fab digital photo frame from my partner - he'd sneaked through my computer photos and already filled a memory card for it with all my fave photos :) plus the new Stephen King book (yay!). kids got me a cd and a dvd, my mum gave me perfume & choccies. also got various other things from other peeps... tins of biscuits, more choccies etc.. to say that we'd all agreed not to buy for adults this year, i didn't do too badly! lol

Kewl on the T1i Peaches, I was looking at that before I opted for the NikonD60.

I got the new Pooh Bear; Return to Hundred Acre Wood, Backpacking Gourmet book, camera battery & memory card, a voucher for some posh malt whisky, and a dehydrator so I can make my own dried backpacking food. I bought Paul thousands of books, dvds and cds that he asked for. Well okay not quite thousands, but loads.

I got an air purifier, (was on my list of wants) oil scents and a candle holder and a nice big Candle, housecoat, vest, pjs, chocolates (cant eat them right now). We are saving for a trip so we kept it low key... my best present was a no flare Christmas first time in 10 years, nothing beats that!!

Peaches, I got a similar camera like that last year, it is so cool.

Mike.... sympathies, my friend :(

I got a Snuggie!
Im wearing it right now, I love it. I love it even more cause everyone hates it! lol!

MBH you just dont like it cause you've never tried one :p

Pen... an air purifier would have been a good idea after all those damn sprouts I had... maybe a good idea for next year.
I got the best load of swag I've had for years... a Steiff bear (I've called him Rory... geddit?) a Dalek, an action man in scuba gear, a filofax (for planning my days when I quit work), a manbag (for carrying the filofax around in), a shedload of knitwear, which will be going down to the charity shop asap, and a pile of chocolate... most of which will given away.

Got a knitted hat which I'll be keeping. If anyone explains what a snuggie is, I'll be able to work out whether I got one or not. Didgeridoos require you to master the art of circular breathing... good luck with that one!

Ah, yes... we've got snuggies over here too.
Be very good if you're eating with a plate balanced on your belly while watching TV... keep all the stains off your clothes.
... of course... I'd never watch TV while I ate.

Ugh I was spoiled this Christmas and it made me feel awkward.

My bfs parents bought me a KitchenAid Stand mixer... VERY nice, but wayy too expensive. But I really really like it... used it to make cookies yesterday, it was cool!

Bruce bought me a new Coach purse... again... WAY too expensive, its pretty though :)

And then I got money from everyone else (650 total)

That was just way too much. I have a hard time accepting gifts and compliments. I really like everything I got though! I'm not unappreciative, just feel like I don't deserve that much. :)

I saw the Coach bag on FB, Katie -- I love it! Too bad I'm broke right now or I'd go buy it for myself, LOL.

It's a backward robe minus the tie.....And yes we do own one, I let the kids get one for the hubby as a joke too!! The kids love that thing.

Someone who is now stupidly rich. Why can't we think of stupid things Shaz that can make us rich Shaz?

I think of all sorts of stupid things, but I don't think they will make me rich! ;)

This year I got an Ed Hardy purse (no one could believe that was my kind of style), a new jacket, dearfoam slippers, pj's, a jewelry box, giftcards and money. Best of all, my son was here this year.
