For me, nothing worked to put me in remission...not even [wiki2="Remicade"]Remicade[/wiki2], but mesalamine suppositories definitely eased the pain. There are also steroid suppositories, mesalamine enemas, steroid enemas and steroid foam that can be used, but generally all of these are paired up with some kind of oral medication.
