What should I do?

I was diagnosed with crohns last month. I've been on Pentasa 8 times a day that doesn't seem to be doing much. My colonoscopy from last month showed severe stenosis in the illeum. I had a small bowel follow throught that I don't have the results for.... Doc is out of town. My abdomen is very tender. I'm not one to take pain meds but last nights spasms had me digging in the drawers. I'm usually a 4 plus bm a day kinda gal, but for the past 2 days nothing. Today the pain isn't as bad but I'm dizzy and running a 102 temp. My doc doesn't come back into town until next week. What should I do?

Hey okied0kie,
Are you able to keep hydrated (drink electrolytes or at least water)? You may need to get yourself to a hospital so they can manage your symptoms until you get the results from the small bowel follow through. That pain is serious stuff. Don't hesitate to seek assistance.

I'm able to keep hydrated. I just feel really tired. Today is better then yesterday. I just have no appetite and somehow managed to lose 8lbs in 3 days. I talked to the nurse today and she just said to mention it to the doc when I see him next week.
