Hello, so i posted something similar to this before but i was just wondering what i should do. Or what you all suggest that i should do.

For the past maybe two weeks i have had sharp pain in my LLQ and in my back and tonight i have started getting sharp stabbing pains in my ribs. It's all been on my left side only. I havent had an appetite either and i hardly ate anything today.

Im not sure if i should go to the ER or wait to see if i can get an appointment with my doctor? If anybody reading this can give me your opinion id greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Does your GI have an on call GI? Most GI groups have an on call number to call after hours.

If not a trip to the ER may be in order.

Im not sure if mine does. Ive only seem him twice. I might end up going to the ER in the morning.

feeling any better today?

So far i am. The pain is still there but it isnt as painful as it was last night. The pain usually comes at night anyways. Between 5&6 which is kinda weird. But i made an appointment with my doctor today. Hoping i get this figured out soon.

Emergency department can be hard to get help from with a chronic illness, as, obviously, the staff their specialise in emergencies. Some signs you may need immediate help are a fever, if you're getting dehydrated (you said you're lacking appetite - are you drinking ok?), or if you really need pain relief urgently. Since you've waited a little while, you're probably ok waiting to see your doctor today as long as things don't get worse in the mean time.
