I have been in Humira for a year, and at the moment no other medications at all. I have no active disease in my bowel , but have just had seton drains put in for fistulas.
I just wondered if it anyone had any side effects from Humira. I've never really thought about it before, but now that I'm not Taking anything else i wonder what can be attributed to the Humira?
I feel tired all the time, even when I've slept well. Like if I closed my eyes I would just nod off.
I get frequent chest infections from even the lightest cold.
I struggle to lose weight.
I get light headed and dizzy feeling most days.
Anyone else get any of these, or do I need to look at other reasons for these!!!

My 16 year old daughter has in the past been on Humira for about 6 months. She piled on the weight (even though the consultants said it was not the injections) and also suffered with severe headaches and tiredness. She also picked up every infection going. Hope this helps. she had to stop due to a bad reaction to the injection site

Sounds just like me!! And I've recently started to bruise heavily at the injection sites:-(
Hope your daughter gets on ok, I hate hearing of crohns in suchyoungpeople x x x

Ok mine are as follows:

1 when I first started I had a d still have bad tiredness and low energy (kinda feel lazy)
2. Folliculitis (Looks like a major break out with acne) resolving with hibiclense
3.minor hair loss (I'm on MTX with humira)
4. Tingling numbness in arms
5.headaches off and on
6. Tired every time I inject
7 (not sure if this is just crohns only) but I was on High doses of steroids for 10 months, and tapered off thankfully, or is it humira or a combination?? But I have bad joint and muscle pain in my back and legs When I stand up from sitting in a car or at a table.

Hope this helps.

I pick up any infection. Over the past year, I've been sick at least 10 times. I'm worried about this too though, as each time my primary care puts in on antibiotics so that I don't end up getting a lung infection. I'm worried that its not letting my body try and fight it off on its own. I know the risks with that, but I don't want to become resistant!
I too get headaches all the time. I just keep going back to the fact that I'm at about 80% ok on Humira and at about 10% without it.
