Hello Cyber Supporters, For those of you who have been communicating with my jerman, thank you. I have an update on him. This evening he spiked a pain level of 9 and wasn't able to with stand the 10min drive to the hospital so i had to call the ambulance. After being taken to the local hosp. they were kind enough not to go thru all the same routine checks as to why your there again..... and try to figure it out again themselves. He was transported via ambulance to the hospital in Boston, per MD admission, great!!! We hope.... Maybe with him being admitted to a more educated hospital with GI Specialist/Surgeons we might get some answers. Here's hoping we will find 1 doctor that can give us answers!!! So as I made my promise to my dear hubby, I would update his cyberpeeps, lol. But thank you for all the information that has been shared here, we read alot constantly. Jermans Wife

aw so sorry he had to be rushed in like that :(

what hospital did he go to? massgeneral? ive been there a couple times and they seem pretty top notch.
i hope that they can figure something out for him, from what the two of you have posted...hes having a rough time.

thank you for updating us jermans wife! i love when a family member comes on here and shows so much involvment and effort. really, it is a great great thing. it means so much to me when someone close to me acts that way on my behalf. i know he appreciates it so much from you.

we would like to get to know you too :)

Hello Kello82, thank you for your support. Jerman (Jerry) is in Boston Medical Center he has had a team of staff in/out of his room so far. I am speaking with him now and says to send his thanks. I will continue to read and post as we have been doing on so many sites trying to find some advice/info.... BTW, my name is Laurie. I will fill you in as things progress (we hope) :) he did get his first night of sleep. Thanks for the wishes!!!

Sorry to hear he had to be taken to the hospital! Good luck to the both of you & keep us posted!

Hi all. Spoke to Jerman (Jerry) - he really thinks he's a super hero, like superman, lol, lets hope... He's been very tired but much more comfortable at this point. He will be having some other tests this week, I will find out more come Monday, currently the staff are trying to determine some sort of baseline and looking at some previous tests he's had. Jer appreciates the posts, I've had a chance to read most to him before the end of this evening, will print and bring them with me tomorrow when I see him. Not sure how long he'll be hospitalized but I hope they have all the answers before they release him again... Thanks again to you all! Laurie

yayy so glad his more comfortable. that makes it so much easier to think rationally and find long term solutions.
nice to officially meet you Laurie :)
hope tommorow holds some answers for the both of you

Hello everyone - Here we are a few days out of Jerry's admit to Boston Hospital. He did his reading as I promised to bring along about the postings here and he was very thankful for all the kind thoughts. He had a ct scan today - 3rd this year and prepping for colonoscopy and endoscopy for tomorrow and talk of pill cam thereafter. We hope with this new testing something will come about. Keep you posted, it's been a long few days. Thank you again - Laurie.

oof. my heart goes out to him during his colonoscopy prep....not a fun time!
tell him to feel free to whine and complain to us about the nasty tasting beverage they make you chug as well as the toilet marathon he gets to run. it makes it better to complain :D
good luck with the testing.

Well all, Jermans back home. Waiting for any results from testing that hasn't already been reported. CT Scan and scopes were "normal" omfg.... He's home as uncomfortable as he was before, grrrr. Well i'm sure he'll be looking for his cyberpeeps a lil later when he's up to chatting.. Thank you all again. Laurie
