Worse before better?

My son received his second Remicade treatment 12 days ago. His fistula closed within the first week after treatment and looked great when I looked again the other day. Then last night, it was open and bleeding. He woke up crying from stomach pains this morning. This happened after his first treatment with the exact same timing. He hasn't had pain this bad since he was diagnosed with crohn's. Did anybody else get "worse" before better when they started Remicade? I will be calling his doctor tomorrow, but I am sure we will get no direction as usual.

Hello Jessica, it's really unfortunate that your son suffers so. My remi treatment started to work after my fourth infusion. yes it is possible that he will feel better soon. everybody is different some faster as others takes longer.
