Hey community. I am going to be participating in a Take Steps walk for Crohns and Colitis and was wondering if anybody else will be doing one. My walk will be in Columbus, OH in June! I am very excited to take part in it as i guess it is my first real public acceptance of my Crohn's.

I haven't. The only treatments I have had so far are Entocort (got an abcess), Humira (recently shown fistula/stricture) and prednisone which didn't do a whole lot to stop the pains.

No, it doesn't come out as white. It appears normal but then as soon as it hits the water it appears to change to white. No clue at all what that means but I have noticed it a couple of times now. I drink plenty of water so I am not sure if that should be a problem.

Yes the extra added energy is great so far and luckily the sleep hasn't changed much yet. I will hopefully only be on it for a couple weeks to kill down this flare and then talk with the doc to see what I should do about my Humira and if I should be trying something else.

I know what you mean..every time I can feel something is out of sorts with my body I know something isn't right and it can be difficult some times like you said to be heard. My main area of damage is the terminal ileum too so I am right there with ya.

Interesting, I could have sworn the doctor when describing Humira said I had the option to come in for infusions or just inject at home, but thanks for the clarification. Who knows, maybe Humira has run it's course with me so I will have to discuss with my doctor the next time I go what are some...

currently taking injections every other week. Haven not discussed with my doctor about weekly administration, or even if there is a difference between IV infusion vs. injections.
