    My journey to getting well

Ya I also have a spinal cord injury and was told this is just my life now and I have to live with it....well I'm almost always out of my wheel chair now and down to one arm crutch usually except today. So people who say those things can just suck it :-) I think I've gotten medically induced...

Change Meds, Add Budesonide or Wait Longer?

It's weirdly comforting that others got drug induced Lupis. I got it from Remicade which was sad since it was amazing. Ya couldn't even turn a door knob or put up my and brush my hair and I was still active duty at that time so ya big problem. I would tell your son that if he can drink tea...

Stelara every 12 weeks in the UK, not frequent enough?

I was wondering how your doing now that you've been on it for awhile. I was told today by my doctor I would have a half hour infusion then injections but that is it on my intel. Do you do your shots? I couldn't do my Humira shots alone since the burning was like shooting lava into your body...

How long does it take Stelara to work?

Hugs, exhaustion sucks. I've been a slug today. I was glad to find this thread as I start Stelara in 6ish weeks. This makes me want to pick up a yeast infection kit ahead of time....bummer. How bad does the injections burn....horrible like Humira or just easy shot pain. Can you shot...

    Switching from Remicade to Stelara

I remember when I switched earlier than I thought they should on ?? sorry can't remember they told me sometimes it's better to switch when you're doing ok. When you're in crisis it's so much harder for your body to catch up. I'm going to start Stelara in about 6 weeks so sorry can't advise on...

Will I ever live a productive life with crohns>

We have definitely all said that same thing....well mostly you're making me do math....wait.....wait....nope 14 years here :-) The only way I've survived is humor. Had a shirt for quite awhile that said "Shit Happens" my inside joke to myself and others thought it as something else....yep...

    Medicare Coverage for Stelara

Tricare does, but unless you or your spouse is military I guess that doesn't help. I'm going from Vedo to Stelara next month so praying this one works without horrible side effects like I had from Remicade and Vedolizumab. Love your picture. Was in Rome last year, almost died from heat in the...

    My journey to getting well

You are strong to do this it's such a roller coaster when trying diet only.I went into remission on the Jordan Rubin diet which was really strict, not sure if spelled right. But it was amazing how much energy I had on it after about two months. I could taste the chemicals in foods and loved...
